New freshman loves being outside

Wabaunsee high school has a new freshman.

Breanna Carroll transferred to Wabaunsee from Rock Creek where she had lived her whole life. Her family made the move so her dad would be closer to work. She now lives outside McFarland.

A few of her hobbies include playing video games, drawing, riding horses and just being outside. Breanna also participates in band. She plays the trumpet and the French horn.

Breanna has enjoyed her time at Wabaunsee so far. “Everybody’s really nice here compared to Rock Creek,” Carroll said, “Everyone is welcoming and overall it’s a pretty nice school.”
