As the Charger tennis team prepares for regionals tomorrow in Hillsboro, we look back at a great year for Charger tennis.
In 1980, both Lisa Harms and Patti Dittman advanced to the state tournament. Dittman ended the season with a 12-4 record and Harms ended 16-3.
On the boys team, Keith Herren and Lars Olsson advanced to state, finishing 8th overall.
“We played up to our potential at state,” head coach Chris George said, “but we just lost to a better team.”
