WHS students will have a chance to get “Frozen in Time” at the Winter Formal.
“NHS [National Honor Society] got together and decided that we wanted to do something different this year,” NHS adviser Miriam Barton said. It’s Barton’s first year at Wabaunsee and her first year as an NHS adviser.
The members of the club want the dance to be more memorable and enjoyable than previous years. “In the past it’s always been just another dance like homecoming. Even though we called it a formal it wasn’t really treated any different,” NHS member Kendyl Bolinder said.
The dance is also on a Saturday, instead of Friday following the game. “We hope it gives people more time to get ready, go out to eat and make it an event,” Bolinder said.
