WHS 2020 | Charger counts down the top stories of the year

After winning the 2019 championship, volleyball returned to state again, for the third year in a row and the seventh time in ten seasons. Unlike some previous seasons, the outcome didn’t seem like a sure thing, as the team faced some quarantines and tough mid-season losses, entering sub-state as the #5 seed. After a thrilling first-round state victory over Jefferson County North, the team finished third, beating Hillsboro in the final game.
