3. WHS reopens after implementing safety procedures
USD 329 was one of the first districts in the area to open its school this year. The returns to school looked very different this year with the new COVID-19 precautions. With the rise of COVID-19 in the U.S. the school took action in the hopes to keep kids in school as long as possible. Every morning students are required to fill out a wellness survey and have their temperatures taken. Masks are also required to be worn at all times, and countless policy changes have been made to adapt to the threats of the virus. This has all been disruptive, but compared to several other districts in our area, we feel like we have weathered it well so far.
