I’m not sure I just know it hasn’t been “High School Musical.” There has been no singing.
What does it mean to you to be a candidate?
I hate to say it, but people actually like me.

I’m not very creative so I usually just say I didn’t do it or turn it in half done.

I can’t sit down to do my homework at home, all I do is play on my phone and watch TikToks.
What’s the best lesson you’ve learned in high school?
Not to procrastinate.
What trend or fad are you most embarrassed about participating in high school?
It’s not really a fad or trend, but I’m embarrassed about how we used to do our eyebrows freshman year, looking back at pictures they looked terrible.

Watching TikToks, it’s an excuse to not do homework.

ALL OF THEM! I’m at school like 2 days a week haha.

Newspaper is my favorite activity because I’ve placed every competition I’ve participated in and it’s so fun writing stories.

What does it mean to you to be a candidate?
I’ve never really understood why still we have homecoming and winter royalty candidates to be honest, so to me it’s just really nice to know that people like me enough to vote for me.
What symptoms of senioritis are you experiencing?
Wearing sweatpants and hoodies every day, and just generally having little to no will to do assignments or come to class.
What trend or fad are you most embarrassed about participating in high school?
Freshman year I wore a full face of makeup to school every single day and I really regret that.

I’m just gonna say high school musical because I can’t think of anything else but HSM was 100000x better.

“You’re Gonna Miss This” by Trace Adkins because as we are going through each year we cannot wait to just done and move on to the next chapter but now that I am about to graduate it’s crazy to look back on all of the memories and know that just in a few months I’ll never get this time back.
What does it mean to you to be a candidate?
Being a candidate honestly means a lot to me because it makes me feel like I am well respected around the school and have gotten myself out there enough that even people who I have never had a class with might have voted for me just because I’m a nice person.

I am sad to say none of them must have been creative enough because they never work 😦

What’s the best lesson you’ve learned in high school?
Not everyone needs to like you because no matter what, some people are always going to find something to not like or judge you for some reason. Do what makes you happy because at the end of the day that’s what matters the most.
What trend or fad are you most embarrassed about participating in high school?
Wearing long Nike socks over our leggings… not the move.
Favorite activity and why?
FFA. I’ve always loved livestock and public speaking like reasons so having a club where I can judge livestock AND get out of school is amazing!
