As it snows in Wabaunsee County, it might seem strange to look ahead to spring sports season. However, practices for baseball, softball and track start Monday afternoon.
One sport that won’t be practicing is boys tennis — Wabaunsee no longer has a boys program.
Back in 1983 the program found some success, qualifying a singles player and a doubles team for state.
