Jacob Meseke | co editor in chief
Jacob is a senior from Alma. He participates in football, basketball, baseball, FCCLA, fitness club and NHS. When he isn’t in school he likes to play video games, watch sports and go to Raising Cane’s. He plans to go to K-State, but his major is undecided. Payton Wurtz | staff writer
Payton is a sophomore from Alma. She participates in cross country, track, FCA, KAYs, Rooted in Christ, Student Council and Scholars Bowl. She enjoys going to church with her family and playing board games, which are always more aggressive than expected. When she isn’t at school she also enjoys camping, hiking and kayaking. Payton is a Sweet Tea connoisseur and will take any recommendations #baptizedinsweettea. After high school she plans on becoming a sports psychologist and running collegiately. Baylie is a Junior from Paxico. She participates in tennis, volleyball, track, Rooted In Christ, FCCLA, KAYs, SAFE, Student Council, FCA and Yellow Ribbon. When she isn’t at school she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, fishing, playing with her dogs, camping, shopping, and hiking. Sophia is a junior from Alma. She participates in cross country, track, cheer, FFA, FCCLA, student council and NHS. She is also an Aquarius, which interestingly is not a water sign. When not at school, Sophia enjoys relaxing, eating Cheez-its and shopping. After high school Sophia plans on becoming a dermatologist, as well as cheering in college. Heather is a Junior from Maple Hill. She enjoys band, scholars bowl and getting good grades. At home, she plays video games and eats Cheetos. She plans on studying engineering at a university to be determined. Despite being very tall, she is not participating in basketball, now or ever. She knows you think it’s funny to ask, but she’s heard it three times today.
Ava Meinhardt | staff writer
Ava is a junior from Paxico. She participates in tennis, cheer, softball, FCCLA, fitness club (because she is all about #fitness) and Rooted in Christ. When she is not at school, Ava enjoys going to Starbucks even though she hates coffee. She also likes white cheddar Cheez-its better than the original. Sienna Jones | staff writer
Sienna is a junior from Alma. She participates in track, cross country, cheer, softball, student council, FCCLA and fitness club. She is 5’11 and does not play volleyball or basketball — stop asking. As a Gemini, with a June birthday, she enjoys the summertime. Activities such as swimming, hiking and eating food. You can find her working at Sonic #happyhour.
