Watch the candidates in action at the parade Wednesday at 6:30, or the pep rally Friday at 1:30. The crowning takes place Friday at 6:20 followed by football vs. Northern Heights.

What activity has meant the most to you at WHS and why?

“Softball because I had a feeling of control when pitching and a feeling calm while playing.”

What is your favorite high school memory?

“Seeing my friends everyday.”

Who’s your celebrity crush?

“Theo James.” 

What are your plans after high school?

“I plan to major in Nursing at Washburn.”

Any advice for underclassmen?

“Your mom is always right.” 

What is your spirit animal?

“A bear.”

What would your theme song be?

“Sofia the first.”

“Physical touch, I don’t know, I just like it.”

“How to be kind to everyone because it’s not that hard.”

Ryan Schutter 

What activity has meant the most to you at WHS and why?

“Basketball, just love the game”

What is your favorite high school memory?

“Beating Centralia in football, or being state runner up in basketball”

Who’s your celebrity crush?

“Megan Fox”

What are your plans after high school?

“Become a lineman, or become an electrician”

Any advice for underclassmen?

“Keep your confidence and trust the process”

“Honey badger”

“Danger zone”

“French, it just sounds like it would be”

Annie Wright 

What activity has meant the most to you at WHS and why?

“Getting top 8 in the nation in knowledge bowl for FCCLA because we weren’t even supposed to be at nationals in the first place.” 

What is your favorite high school memory? 

“Junior year, our parade float when the boys were dressed as gangster pirates.”

Who’s your celebrity crush?

“Tommy Lee.”

What are your plans after high school?

“Go to Washburn University and major in psychology.” 

Any advice for underclassmen?

“Don’t take your high school years for granted, it goes by fast.”

“Chameleon.”

“Gambino’s Pizza.”

“Why we should have naptime in school.”

Eli Oliver 

What activity has meant the most to you at WHS and why?

“Football, because I’ve gotten closer with all of my friends and made a lot of good memories.”

What is your favorite high school memory? 

“Playing at state basketball my sophomore year.”

“Go to college.”

“Do as much out of school activities as you can.”

Olivia Mayer 

What activity has meant the most to you at WHS and why?

“FCCLA because I have been on so many trips, met new people, and made amazing memories with my classmates.”

What is your favorite high school memory? 

“When Mrs. Hull purposely let us fail the Crush the Can lab. She didn’t give us very many directions either.”

Who’s your celebrity crush?

“Miles Teller.”

What are your plans after high school?

“Go to Washburn University to study Health Science.”

Any advice for underclassmen?

“High school goes by really fast, enjoy every moment.”

“A giraffe because I want to be taller.”

“Pursuit of Happiness but the version from Project X.”

“Pickles.”

Maverick Havenstein 

What activity has meant the most to you at WHS and why?

“Football.”

What is your favorite high school memory? 

“Running around Cabela’s during a summer basketball tournament with doe pee.”

What are your plans after high school?

“Go to college and get a degree in Mechanical Engineering.”

Any advice for underclassmen?

“Walk on the right side of the hallway you mongrels.”

“Gorilla.”

“Cats on Mars” by Seatbelts.”

“Quality time. Spending time together is awesome. Ladies, I’m single, please hit me up.”

“Why the death penalty should be implemented into school.”

Lexi Barnes 

What activity has meant the most to you during highschool and why?

“Basketball, It’s my stress reliever. When I’m mad, I’m probably in the gym shooting hoops.”

“Chris hemsworth.”

What are your plans after high school?

“Agribusiness k-state.”

Any advice for underclassmen?

“Have fun and don’t take anything too seriously.”

“Sports because they have impacted me a lot as a person.”

“Respect upperclassmen and pay attention in class.”
