As the cross country team prepares to compete in the Jason McKinney Invitational meet tonight at WHS, we look back at the 1984 squad that won its home meet.
Chris Wurtz was the only runner to qualify for state, and his niece Payton will be running for the Chargers today.
The meet begins at 4 p.m., with junior high races followed by high school girls and boys.
