On Saturday wrestling competed in two different meets. The boys wrestled at Council Grove while the girls wrestled at Rock Creek.
The girls had three wrestlers that placed. Sophomore Emily Meyer placed 3rd at 145. Senior Jenna Donaldson placed 3rd as well at 130. Junior Sophia Castillo got 2nd place at 105.
The boys had two wrestlers place at Council Grove. Junior Wyatt Wurtz placed 2nd at 165. Junior Weston Johnson took the gold at 125.
Wrestling will host a home duel with Onaga and Hayden Thursday. The Wabaunsee kids club will also compete during the event.
