Senioritis is a term you’ve probably heard thrown around in the halls of the high school every year. For anyone who is yet to experience their senior year, and coming from someone who’s in the midst of it, let me tell you now; it’s real. And in true senioritis fashion, I’m writing this article literally an hour before it’s due.
Leading up to and following the election there has been much fuss about the minimum wage in America. President Joe Biden is expected to present his proposal Friday for raising the minimum wage to $15 an hour. Although there will always be negative side effects to changes like these, overall it will be extremely beneficial to millions of Americans and could even help improve the economy.

Every day we begin school with a moment of silence and the pledge of allegiance. Everyone stands, and places their right hand on their heart. We then recite the words that pledge our loyalty to the greatest country on earth.
