New superintendent Troy Pitch met with the WHS student council September 19 to discuss student questions and concerns. The discussion included many topics including the bond, student curriculum, college readiness and career pathways.

Homecoming week will look a little different this year, with the parade moving to Wednesday night and the addition of a powderpuff football game.
Sports in Kansas presents ‘Think Before You Post’ presentation to WHS
On August 25, the Wabaunsee High School Student Council invited Chet Kuplan, CEO of Sports in Kansas, to speak to all High School and Junior High students.
“I had seen the posts of visits to schools throughout the last year. Comments made were positive and I felt that due to the impact social media has on all this could benefit students and even adults,” said STUCO adviser Amy Cassell.
Throwback Thursday | 2006 Scholars Bowl
A week after the 2021 scholars bowl team ended its season in regional, we look back at the team from 2006.
Coached by Susan Scraeder and Dina Wingfield, the team placed first in the Mid-East League tournament.
